KCnet cares about creating a strong sense of community. And, we want our youth and young adults to take an active role. When it comes to “tech” there’s a generation lap occurring. Kids increasingly know more than adults about technology. So, our thought is let’s build on the momentum. That’s why KCnet is committed to helping high school and college students to develop “Electronic Villages” for their hometowns across the Commonwealth. Our goal is for every community to have its special place online where the generations can connect, share, learn, grow and prosper together for the greater good.
This initiative builds upon the KCnet founders’ idea
sixteen years ago for the creation of the Lock Haven Electronic Village, accessible at www.lhev.com.
This site went through a major transformation this year. Please check back often to see
all the improvements being made, and also look for a growing list of new “Electronic Villages” as the idea spreads.
