Well here we are half way thru April and it's starting to feel like spring might be here, mornings and evenings are still very chilly but warms up pretty nice in the afternoons at least when the sun is out and shining bright.

In 2008 Kelly and Artie's wedding was extraordinary, our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren are doing pretty darn good. Marilyn had a knee replacement and is doing very well & although I seem to be almost as old as dirt I get around extremely well so far, thank God. This past year or two, 4 of the grandchildren have all bought houses so that has been a major acomplishment for them. Grandson Andrew joined the Army reserve and is doing well there and also has found a new job that he really likes so it seems he has found his nitch. We just hope this year keeps them all happy and healthy or healthier since Amber, Nicole and Jeff all have health issures they are dealing with. We can only hope and pray things get better for them.

We have been trying to work outside on all the little projects that come along with spring.  We are going to be planting a new tree to replace the one we had removed earlier.  The lawn needs mowing for the first time in some places of course the dandilions are making a showing and will need to be taken care of. It just never ends but its better than sitting inside watching it snow.

This weekend, April 18 Marilyn's sister Enetta and her friend Ken are going to be visiting from Oregon and then in June daughter Elissa and her husband Mark will be coming from Florida for a week or so.  We all are going to be renovating grandson Jeff's kitchen, that should be fun! or not!!, at least we are going to try.  It will be good to see them as they haven't been to PA. in over a year.
