Haneyville Volunteer Fire Company was chartered 10/11/1972. The first meeting for the charter members was held a the Mountain Top Inn.
This all came about after one of the Charter Members had a fire in their residence. It was determined that a fire company was needed in the area and as they say, the rest was history.
The names of each of the incorporators
are as follows.

3. Richard (Dick) Schenck
4. Ernest (Earnie) Quiggle
5. Richard Ziegler
They were also the first Board of
Directors.
